Poem:
Under the shadow
of an ancient rage
formed in fire and frost
I floated.
In water the color of sapphire,
so deep it could swallow
the heaviest thought,
flashes of rainbow glitter,
coral shimmer,
slid through the sky's mirror
And when my lungs slowed,
I thought-
So this is how it feels to be alive
So this is how it feels to be known
